What is ADHD

ADHD doesn’t disappear with age, it just looks different. In adults, it’s about struggling with focus, organization, and impulse control. You may find yourself forgetting appointments, jumping between tasks, or feeling restless even when sitting still. DSM and ICD describe it as a lifelong pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity that interferes with daily life. It’s not laziness, it’s a different way the brain manages attention.
