Child ADHD Assessment

ADHD is a common neurodevelopmental condition that can shape how children learn, behave, and relate to others. With early recognition and the right support, children and teens can develop tools to manage their symptoms, build self-esteem, and thrive in their environments. An assessment is the first step toward understanding their needs and unlocking their potential.

What is ADHD

In children, ADHD is often seen as high energy, distractibility, and impulsive behavior. DSM and ICD highlight difficulties with attention, self-control, and activity levels compared to other children the same age. A child might forget homework, talk endlessly, or struggle to sit still in class. It’s not bad parenting or “naughtiness”, it’s their brain working differently. With support, these children can thrive.
